Receiving e-mail
Setting Maximum Number of SMS per e-mail SMS allows messages of up to 160 characters (1 Short Message) to be sent and received by GSM or PCN phones. AirmailTM allows you to set the number of Short Messages you can receive per Internet e-mail sent to your phone. The default length is 1 Short Message, in which you will usually receive the sender's e-mail address, the message subject and part of the message text. To receive longer e-mails you will have to change the message length to more than 1 Short Message to, for example, 3 Short messages. To alter the number of Short Messages per e-mail, send a message to your Gateway Number with the following text: EMAIL followed by the number of Short messages per e-mail For example, to set your phone to receive up to 3 short messages per e-mail send the following message to your Gateway Number: EMAIL 3 NOTE: Standard AirmailTM subscription allows for up to 10 Short messages per e-mail received from the Internet. |

Diverting AirmailTM Messages
You may divert your AirmailTM messages, in which case messages are not sent to your phone, but diverted to an alternative Internet address. To set up a divert, send the following message to your Gateway number: DIVERT followed by the nominated Internet addressFor example to divert your AirmailTM messages to inform@dsres.com you would send the following message to the Gateway number: DIVERT INFORM!DSRES.COM You may have only one divert active at a time. Automatic Forwarding of AirmailTM Messages
You may forward your AirmailTM messages, in which case messages arrive on your phone, but also duplicates are sent to an alternative Internet address. To set up message forward, send the following message to your Gateway number: FORWARD followed by the nominated Internet addressFor example to forward your AirmailTM messages to inform@dsres.com you would send the following message to the Gateway number: FORWARD INFORM!DSRES.COMYou may have only one forward set up. Using AirmailTM with Portable Devices
When using AirmailTM with a personal digital assistant (PDA) such as a Psion 3a or personal computer to send and receive e-mail you may need to set the AirmailTM device mode parameter to the PDA mode. The PDA mode will send extra information for external devices to be able to concatenate several Short Messages into a single e-mail or data file on the external device.
